Cologne - cathedral and old town

Cologne is world renowned for its cathedral and old town district.  A world heritage site since 1996, Cologne's cathedral is a prime example of Gothic architecture and is Germany's most visited landmark.  In the shadow of the cathedral sits the old town district. Abutting the Rhine river, the old town is filled with numerous breweries, pubs, and museums.

In this excursion you'll receive a guided tour of the Cathedral and the old town district. The guided tour ends at approximately 16:30, so you'll have plenty of time to visit any museums and the Rhine river during your free time.  So enjoy the magnificent twin spires of the cathedral and have a refreshing beer (Kölsch beer, please!) in one of the nearby pubs (not included in the conference fee).
