Description

Annual meeting of the STRONG2020 Joint Research Activity "Cryogenic Polarized Target Applications" (WP28)

For the first time within the funding period of the European STRONG2020 joint research activity CryPTA (Cryogenic Polarized Target Applications), we will organize the annual meeting 2022 as a face-to-face meeting (in person). The workshop will take place from September 20th to September 22nd in Boppard am Rhein at the Hotel Ebertor. Boppard is a small historic town on the river Rhine between Koblenz and Mainz.

We would like to bring all experts around the polarized solid-state target together again in order to present and discuss the status and further work of the subprojects of CryPTA and other polarized target groups in a pleasant setting. In addition, it is foreseen to discuss the perspectives of the polarized solid-state target in the remaining European laboratories and institutes in view of the tense personnel situation. The aim is to elaborate a common road map for the near future experiments.
