Abstract

Note: If you submit an abstract, you still need to register for the event separately.

Your abstract has to:

  1. Be at most 300 words
  2. Describe a scientific project of yours that used Marvin
  3. Describe roughly what kind of computations you did on Marvin
  4. Describe why it is "most interesting"!

Optionally, it would be great if you could attach:

  • An image related to the abstract
  • A paper or preprint with your results, or a link to it

A jury consisting of HPC Team members and experienced scientists from Uni Bonn will evaluate all submissions. The 7 most interesting contributions will be selected by March 7, 2025.

These 7 finalists will have to hold a 15-minute (plus 5-minutes for questions) talk at the Marvin First Anniversary event on March 25, 2025. There a public vote will select the winner!

The submission deadline is February 24, 2025, 18:00

What can you win?

  1. First price:
    • One week of Premium HPC Support! One of our support team members will join your group for a full week, help install HPC software, help review your code, job scripts, or hold training courses, according to what you need!

  2. Second price:
