Venue and transport

Venue

The retreat venue is the "Kloster Steinfeld Gästehaus". Address: Hermann-Josef-Straße 4, D-53925 Kall.

Surrounded by the greenery of the northern Eifel, the two white towers of Steinfeld Basilica rise up behind the wrought-iron gate of the monastery gate. The historical beginnings of Steinfeld Monastery go back more than 1000 years, and the complex is considered one of the best-preserved monastic monuments in the Rhineland.

The monastery is both a place to slow down and a meeting place. In the heart of the Northern Eifel, it is the starting point for a variety of excursions to castles and palaces, leisure facilities and museums in the surrounding area. Kloster Steinfeld is a stage destination on the Eifelsteig premium hiking trail.
