Christian Nitsch studied Physics at TU Dortmund University and obtained his doctoral degree in 2018. His research focused on experimental particle physics with a focus on low-level gamma spectrometry. Since 2019, he has been employed at Iqony Solutions GmbH in Essen as a project engineer for radiation protection planning, licensing procedures under nuclear and radiation protection laws, and nuclear simulations. He is currently project manager for major projects in the nuclear field and deputy head of the Licensing & Nuclear Calculations department.
