Karola Bejm studied Physics in Dortmund and pursued doctoral studies in detector development for the ATLAS experiment at CERN. She then moved to Toronto, Canada, for a postdoc position and worked on the ATLAS upgrade project for the new inner tracker ITk. She moved to Elmos Semiconductor SE in Dortmund afterward and is now group leader for project management office services.
