Elliptics and Beyond '25
September 1 - 5, 2025
Bethe Center for Theoretical Physics, Wegelerstraße 10, 53115 Bonn (Germany)
The Bethe Center for Theoretical physics hosts the workshop “Elliptics and Beyond” during the week September 1-5, 2025. Recent years have shown the need for a better understanding of the function spaces required for progress in different areas of theoretical physics. These include precision calculations for particle scattering or gravitational wave experiments as well as fundamental considerations within string theory.
The aim of this workshop is to bring together physicists and mathematicians working on related topics. These involve polylogarithms, elliptic integrals, Calabi-Yau geometries or modular forms. We plan a light program with ample time for interactions and discussions. To be precise, it is intended to have around two longer and two shorter talks per day, with a free Monday morning and free afternoons on Wednesday and Friday.
Speakers include:
Henrik Bachmann (Nagoya)
Konstantin Baune (ETH Zürich)
Iris Bree (Mainz)
David Broadhurst (Open University England)
Hjalte Frellesvig (Zhejiang University)
Gustav Uhre Jakobsen (HU Berlin)
Deepak Kamlesh (MPI Bonn)
Axel Kleinschmidt (AEI Potsdam)
