Accelerating the Search for Disappearing Light Dark Matter – a Community Workshop
September 30 - October 2, 2026
Bethe Center for Theoretical Physics, Wegelerstraße 10, 53115 Bonn (Germany)
The Bethe Center for Theoretical physics hosts the workshop “Accelerating the Search for Disappearing Light Dark Matter - A Communtiy Workshop” during the week September 30 - October 2, 2026.
This community workshop is meant to enhance the exchange of idea
s and the cooperation in the emerging field of searches for dark photons based on the missing momentum signature at various types of accelerators. We will cover experimental as well as theoretical aspects, and focus on improving the understanding of optimisation of experiments, the interplay between theory and experiment, and of cooperation in the development of detector components.
Topics:
Models
Signals, Backgrounds and Mechanisms
Limits
Experiment Proposals
Detector and Readout Technologies
