Bonn Fall HEP Meeting 2024:

Embracing Diversity in High Energy Physics

October 07-09, 2024

Bethe Center for Theoretical Physics, Wegelerstraße 10, 53115 Bonn (Germany)

High energy physics (HEP) unites physicists from theory and experiment irrespective of age, gender, or personal background. This is also the aim of our workshop: bringing together people focusing on various aspects of HEP across different career stages. We are particularly excited to amplify the voices of female* physicists while ensuring a diverse and inclusive environment for everyone.

The highlights of our program include
 - keynote talks on high energy physics, career paths, and diversity
 - young scientist's talks
 - poster session
 - workshop session on anti-discrimination
 - networking and discussions.

A few areas from HEP (and connected physics) that we plan to cover include:
 1) Phenomenology of LHC.
 2) Experimental precision tests of the Standard Model.
 3) Mathematical aspects of scattering amplitudes.
 4) Astroparticle physics and experimental cosmology.

Beyond physics, we will also delve into:
 1) Career paths within and beyond academia
 2) Gender and diversity dimensions in research.
 3) Funding opportunities
 4) Networking.

We strongly encourage a diverse audience of any gender, including master students, PhD students, and postdocs, as well as anyone interested in promoting diversity both in research and researchers to take part in this conference.
