Do I need a visa to travel to Cyprus?
Visa exemptions for non-EU/EFTA nationals apply only for short stays, i.e. for less than
90 days. This easily covers the duration of the workshop.
What is the weather like in Cyprus?
In October, Cyprus is usually warm and sunny with temperatures in the mid-to-high 20s ◦C
(mid-to-high 70s to low 80s ◦F). The sea has retained its warmth after the hot summer, so
you can still swim. Rain is usually not expected. However, since the evenings can also get a
little cooler, it is recommended to pack both light and cool clothing.
How long should my talk be?
For invited speakers, 25 minutes + 5 minutes for questions. For students and postdocs, 15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions.
What is the cost for registration?
The fee for the F&C Workshop amounts to 125 Euro. The fee covers a conference dinner, lunches, and coffee breaks. A late registration fee of 145 Euro will be charged after August 31, 2023. The payment options are explained during the EINN2023 registration process. Please note that for on-site payment we can only accept cash.
