Description

The DETECT (Regional Climate Change: Disentangling the Role of Land Use and Water Management)-Geonetwork data portal is a cornerstone of the CRC 1502 DETECT. This portal is designed to establish and maintain a centralized research data infrastructure. It provides open data services that strictly adhere to the FAIR data principles: Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability, and Reusability. DETECT-Geonetwork is developed, managed, and distributed by the dedicated data management team of DETECT-Z03. In DETECT-Z03, we aim to ensure that observational data and numerical model outputs contributed by all DETECT project partners across subprojects A, B, C, and D are secured, utilized efficiently, and documented comprehensively. This portal supports data dissemination in compliance with the stringent standards and guidelines established by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the European Union (EU). It serves as a repository for metadata related to all DETECT subprojects, offering users access to a diverse array of environmental datasets and model outputs. These datasets encompass a wide range of disciplines and studies, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of DETECT research.
