Normalizing flows have emerged over the past several years as a promising avenue to accelerating Monte Carlo sampling for a variety of lattice field theories. This talk will discuss recent progress and ongoing efforts in applying normalizing flows based on gauge-equivariant coupling layers to lattice gauge theories in 3+1d.
