Description

The BESIII detector located at the BEPCII electron positron collider functions as a charm factory. Due to the electron-positron collision, and full coverage of the detector the data can realise a number of precision measurements that are hard to achieve elsewhere. In this talk I will focus on the unique capabilities of BESIII and show some of the key highlights of results. These include leptonic decays, the ability to probe Lc decays and the programme of measurements of hadronic strong phase parameters which serve as key inputs to CPV measurements at LHCb and BELLE II.
