The scalar box integral, single-valued polylogarithms and semi-inclusive DIS

Description

In this talk, I will discuss the all-order epsilon-expansion of the single off-shell scalar box integral with massless internal lines, and the generalization to the non-adjacent double off-shell case. The goal is to obtain a result valid in all kinematic regions with explicit real and imaginary parts. This is achieved by introducing a specific version of single-valued polylogarithms, which are bounded for real arguments and satisfy the functional equations of ordinary polylogarithms without product terms. I will go on to discuss how these results can be used to compactify the existing NNLO coefficients for semi-inclusive DIS. Based on works with Fabian Wunder: 2211.14110, 2302.01956, 2505.18109
