Indico service changed its certificate to Harica CA.

Applied several system software updates, upgraded the PostgreSQL database to most recent established release and added some error handling features to the web service.
The process finished by November 10th, 2025, 22:00. 

During the last two days, we had problems with login using Uni-ID via Shibboleth. The issue could be tracked down and we assume that the problem is fixed now. Anyway, if you have problems logging-in using your Uni-ID, please feel free to send your bug report to indico@hiskp.uni-bonn.de. 

The Department of Physics and Astronomy indico server was moved to another machine which provides higher performance and it got updated to the recent indico version 3.3.8.

We had a down time of some background processes in indico. The problem got analyzed and fixed and indico is back on track as usual. The error occured at 05:03 and was fixed by 08:15.

We decided to remove all incomplete languages again in favour of reliability of our indico service. In parallel started efforts to bring incomplete translations to an end and to make them available in indico, too.
 

In case you need to create a local indico user account, this is possible using an email address from your home affiliation. New users with public email hoster addresses will be rejected.

If you have no email address related to some affiliation available at all, please contact indico@hiskp.uni-bonn.de.

Indico 3.1.1 ist now up and running on this server.

After some longer term since January 18th, 2022, access is available via your personal Uni-ID from Bonn university. Therefore, local users need not to create any account. Please join your self-made account with your Uni-ID account upon login.

Due to a bug in the update process for TeXLive, the installed TeX release was outdated by some weeks. This issue is fixed now and the service is back on track with daily updates.

The Helmholtz-Institut für Strahlen- und Kernphysik presents the first indico service at Bonn university. You may sign up for creating new conferences, meetings and events. Conferences may be organized using this service.
