I present the recently published book “Faszinierende Teilchenphysik” (Springer Verlag, in German, English edition in preparation). This book was written together with Philip Bechtle (Bonn), Florian Bernlochner (Bonn), Christoph Hanhart (FZ Jülich), Josef Jochum (Tübingen), Jörg Pretz (FZ Jülich, RWTH Aachen), and Kristin Riebe (Potsdam). I discuss how the project came about, how it was to write the book and then briefly describe the book itself. The target audience are educated lay-people, for example highschool students in their last 2 years. My part of the work was inspired by the particle physics show, and so I shall show a few experiments for entertainment.
