Title:         $\Lambda(1405)$: what do we learn from the chiral symmetry and from the experimental data on $\bar{K}N$ reactions and $\pi\Sigma$ mass distributions

Abstract:    The $\Lambda(1405)$ has already a long history but is still getting our attention reflecting new theoretical and experimental developments. The chirally motivated coupled channel models on meson-baryon interactions predict two dynamically generated poles in the $\Lambda(1405)$ region but the available experimental data on $\bar{K}N$ reactions and $\pi\Sigma$ mass distributions do not provide a conclusive picture on the matter. In the talk, we will present our recent results related to the pole-nature of the $\Lambda(1405)$ and discuss the model dependence observed when interpreting the mentioned experimental data.
