Title:         Λ(1405): what do we learn from the chiral symmetry and from the experimental data on K¯N reactions and πΣ mass distributions

Abstract:    The Λ(1405) has already a long history but is still getting our attention reflecting new theoretical and experimental developments. The chirally motivated coupled channel models on meson-baryon interactions predict two dynamically generated poles in the Λ(1405) region but the available experimental data on K¯N reactions and πΣ mass distributions do not provide a conclusive picture on the matter. In the talk, we will present our recent results related to the pole-nature of the Λ(1405) and discuss the model dependence observed when interpreting the mentioned experimental data.
