 n\nIn this talk\, I review three decades of strong interaction research at
  Bonn and Jülich. I concentrate on so-called puzzles\, that have attracte
 d much interest in the nuclear and particle physics communities. These puz
 zles concern the electromagnetic radius of the proton\, the monopole trans
 ition form factor of 4He and the appearance of hyperons in neutron stars a
 nd their related effects on neutron star properties. Using different non-p
 erturbative methods\, solutions to all these enigmas are worked out and fu
 ture research in these directions is briefly discussed.\n\nhttps://indico.
