DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Emanuele Mendicelli (University of Liverpool)\n\nWe 
 present a minimal encoding of a single-site interacting boson–fermion sy
 stem on a quantum computer\, with the aim of computing the ground state an
 d low-lying excited states to investigate signatures of spontaneous supers
 ymmetry breaking. Within the framework of quantum variational methods\, sp
 ecifically the Adaptive-VQE approach\, we construct variational ansätze t
 hat scale efficiently with bosonic levels. We further highlight the underl
 ying computational costs of the method and invite brainstorming on alterna
 tive approaches\, particularly in the context of multi-site boson–fermio
 n systems with richer dynamics\, such as the Wess–Zumino model.\n\nhttps
