DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Tao Han\n\nWith the milestone discovery of the Higgs
  boson at the LHC\, precision measurements of the electroweak physics at h
 igh energies  hold the key to understand the Standard Model (SM) and to u
 ncover new physics beyond the SM. After a brief overview of the properties
  of the longitudinal gauge bosons and the Higgs boson\, we revisit the Gol
 dstone boson equivalence theorem and define the “electroweak symmetry re
 storation” (EWSR) quantitatively. We present some examples to examine th
 e EWSR at the LHC and beyond\, in particular via the processes with "radia
 tion amplitude zeros” by separating out the gauge sector and the scalar 
 sector. We discuss what we may learn from testing the EWSR at high energie
