DESCRIPTION:To achieve sub-percent precision in lattice determinations of
hadronic observables isospin-breaking effects need to be included in the c
omputation. These effects come from the electromagnetic interaction and th
e explicit up and down quark mass difference. In this talk\, I will review
how to include these effects from first principles using the RM123 method
\, non-perturbative\, in the strong coupling constant and at first order i
n the electromagnetic coupling constant and in the up and down quark mass
difference. Then I will present a study of the scaling of the error of som
e of these contributions in the infinite volume and continuum limit. Our d
ata show the expected scaling with the volume but do not show the expected
  scaling with the lattice spacing.\n\nhttps://indico.hiskp.uni-bonn.de/eve
